Play it, Jen

Every good movie has a piano player somewhere in the background--
sometimes seen, usually unseen.
Seldom really noticed.
The feeling, the very soul of a scene, is created by that person tinkering at the keys.
It has been said, "All the world's a stage."
Well then...Play it, Jen.

Schnappeh Head!

I was mowing the lawn one afternoon and happened to glance down towards the pond. I noticed something moving around down there and stopped for a closer look. There was a big snapping turtle crusing along in the grass, moving from one pond to another. I yelled for Jason to come and see. Being the good little Californians that we are, Jason grabbed a rake handle and we went running down to the turtle to play with it. Jason poked it with the handle. It was amazing how fast this thing whipped its head around and grabbed the end of the handle. Scared us both crazy. So we flipped it over, ever seen the underside of a snapping turtle? But we were nice and flipped it upright again. After poking at it a bit more we left it alone so it could carry on its journey. And Jason only lost one finger this time!
