Play it, Jen

Every good movie has a piano player somewhere in the background--
sometimes seen, usually unseen.
Seldom really noticed.
The feeling, the very soul of a scene, is created by that person tinkering at the keys.
It has been said, "All the world's a stage."
Well then...Play it, Jen.

"Had went"
As in: "I had went down to the bank this mornin' but it weren't open yet."

David is ready for the Fourth of July

David mowing the lawn

Yes more lawn-mowing pictures! But that's because we spend an amazing amount of our time mowing the lawn!!!!! LOL

Yep, even Rufus has to help mow the lawn!

This little dog loves going for rides on the mower while Jason is cutting the grass. :)

A visitor

This big black snake decided to pay us a visit a couple of weeks ago. I spotted him in the front yard as I was driving up. Of course Jason and the kids came flying out to catch it. By the time they got there the poor thing was making its escape into the pasture but Jason jumped the fence and caught its tail just before it disappeared into the long grass. The boys all wanted a turn to hold it but Katie was content to just pet it. :)
